New Ancestors Racial Justice Coaching Group (for White Folks) with Evangeline Weiss
From supporting clients in the therapy room to our work in communities and our family life, we face so many situations that ask us to be leaders for racial justice. As white people, we may be unsure of ourselves, feel it's too risky, feel stuck or worry that we don’t have credibility and will be seen as overstepping. Unfortunately, when we hesitate or pull back from the conversation, we can send a message that we don’t understand structural racism, or that racial justice is not a high priority for us.
Over six group sessions together we’ll identify your personal lens, advance equity in your sphere, mediate conflicts and give feedback, and practice care rooted in justice.
Details: Tuesdays 11am-1pm CST starting June 11 (two individual sessions with Sarah to be scheduled during the 12-weeks)

AntiRacism Consultation for Group Practice Owners with Brit Holmberg (for White Folks)
Group practice owners face increasing pressures to "do it right" when it comes to being antiracist. And while there is no one right way, practice owners can build awareness of their own racial identity, implement a liberation mindset in their practice, and recognize how mental healthcare interacts white supremacy culture.
Topics we will cover include: tendencies of white dominant culture, racial identity development, allyship/co-conspirator-ship, tools for interrupting racist ideas/comments in therapy and within organizations, clinical supervision, alternatives to calling the police during mental health crises, and internalized racism.
