Are you a therapist stepping into a leadership role for the first time? Or maybe you’ve been in a leadership position for a while, but are bumping up against new struggles.
It's a transformative journey, one that can be deeply rewarding but also filled with unique challenges. Many therapists find themselves in leadership positions because of their exceptional therapeutic skills, yet leading, supervising, or managing others requires a whole new set of competencies not typically covered in graduate school. Our Authentic Leadership group is here to help you become the authentic and wholehearted leader you aspire to be, and we believe that journey is best undertaken with the guidance of experienced mentors and alongside fellow learners.
Throughout the 8-month program, we will explore a range of valuable topics, including:
The Right Use of Power™: Understanding how to use power ethically and effectively as well as guiding others to recognize their own personal power.
Effective Communication: Mastering the art of clear, direct, and empathetic communication.
Resolving Conflict: Developing strategies for resolving conflicts constructively and with integrity.
Building Trust with Your Team: Creating relationships built on trust and collaboration.
Integrity: Being a model for others with generosity and healthy boundaries.
Shame/self-compassion: The role that shame takes within an organization and the compassionate tools to support shame-resilience in self and staff.
Qualities of Integral Leadership: Exploring the cutting-edge concepts in modern leadership.
Who should join Authentic Leaders?
Therapists who want to enhance their leadership skills, whether you're a manager, a supervisor, a group practice owner, or have a different leadership role within the field of psychotherapy. Limited to 10 participants.

Leading with the head and the heart
At Head/Heart Business Therapy, we approach individual, group and organizational healing from the inside out. We believe that in order to offer the best care to clients, we professionals must do our own inner work as well. And at this point in history, we are called to move beyond our old ways of being and courageously step into a new paradigm. We are poised to support our clients’ transformation...but we must also transform ourselves.
