Sarah’s specialty is in building harmonious workplaces through leadership consultation, staff training, and team management.

One on One Supervision and Consultation

Mentoring options are available for therapists who are looking for a transformative supervision experience and practice owners who are looking for customized support.

Sarah can offer supervision for clinical licensure or ongoing professional development. Sarah’s areas of clinical expertise include: substance use disorders, trauma, shame, and perfectionism. Supervision is conducted from a NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) lens and incorporates liberation psychology approaches.

Why 1:1 Supervision with Sarah?

Wounded healers need supervision too. Sarah is passionate about fostering therapists’ personal and professional growth through supervision and consultation.

Supervision not only plays a crucial role in the professional development and ethical practice of therapists, but also provides parallel process for our own healing. Using the tenants of the NeuroAffective Relational Model, Sarah encourages self-reflective supervision that helps therapists deepen clinical skills while identifying patterns that show up in the therapy room.

Why Head/Heart Business Therapy?

Just three months after creating Head/Heart Therapy in 2014, Sarah’s father died suddenly of a heart attack. Nine months later, Sarah lost her mother to breast cancer. In coping with these losses alongside the growth and expansion of her business, Sarah sought to heal herself. Her blend of courage, authenticity, and vulnerability has been at the forefront of the way Sarah built and grew Head/Heart Therapy for nearly a decade. In successfully navigating numerous challenges with ongoing consultation, Sarah learned vital skills for managing a vibrant business. She also realized her greatest passion: helping therapists heal. And so, Sarah decided to begin a new adventure to support helping professionals and healthcare organizations to heal and transform themselves.
